| International Cello Congress 2008 |
The 10th anniversary of the Israel Cello Society will be celebrated by an International Congress, April 21-26, 2008.
The congress will be held at the Arts Center, located in Kibbutz Mizra
in the Jezre'el Valley.
The congress will include open lessons, master classes, lectures and a spring festival, which will include two orchestral concerts with the Israel Camerata conducted by Avner Biron, six cello recitals, a celli ensemble and chamber music concerts at various locations in the Jezre'el valley.
All the events are made possible with the cooperation of Israel Ministry of Science, Culture and Sports, Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, America-Israel Cultural Foundation, Jerusalem Music Center – Mishkenot Sha'ananim, the British Council and BI ARTS - British Israel Arts Training Scheme, the Japanese Embassy, the Regional Council of the Jezre'el Valley, the Mark Rich Foundation and others.
